Catzilla is a sculptural piece made after a rough nights sleep with my cat leaping onto my chest from a tall dresser in the middle of the night. I was planning on sculpting a horse the next day, but instead I couldn't let go of the moment of thorough irritation that my cat's behavior had left me feeling. His eyes staring back at me reflecting my thoughts..his successful attempt at waking me at 2 am was simply because he wanted his kibble topped off..!
