My neighbor many years ago. Heading to work and traveling past his house to mine he smiled and greeted me warmly every single day. Always a cheerful "Hello" filled my day with Joy. I would stop and visit on some days and learned about his life, and why he chose to sit in his driveway and greet people that passed by. An honest life lived fully, hard work, many years in the military, raised a family and now chose to just "be"..greeting those of us in a hurry to be somewhere.  I honored his presence with a sculpture.
