Seashells hand made using High-Fire Clay and carefully blended minerals for bright colors and crystalline glazes for the inside. Suitable for jewelry, condiments, tiny collections of sea glass or just to look pretty. I was inspired by the seashells I've collected over the years from many coastlines. I pondered how many of us have collected seashells over a lifetime. How many shells would that be? What if we put them all back where they came from? Then I was inspired. I made plaster molds of each of my shells, pressed the clay into them and began creating. My intention is to return my seashells to their original home. To become food for fish, to become sand or a home for a hermit crab.
